In light of the urgent need to address the urgent medical needs of the deprived residents of Akkar Governorate in northern Lebanon, the Akkar Charitable Association established the Akkar Charitable Medical Center about four years ago. The center aims to provide comprehensive medical and therapeutic services to the region's residents, who suffer from a severe shortage of basic healthcare. 

The center receives approximately 2,500 patients monthly, reflecting the great need for these healthcare services in the region. The center serves as a primary medical destination for all age groups, offering a variety of services, including a 24-hour emergency department for critical cases and specialized clinics covering a wide range of medical specialties such as pediatrics, internal medicine, and gynecology. The center also includes dental clinics equipped with the latest technology to provide the necessary oral and dental care.

In addition, the center provides accurate laboratory testing services that help diagnose diseases efficiently and quickly, as well as an electrocardiogram (ECG) department that enables monitoring and diagnosis of cardiac conditions using advanced equipment.
